I am happy to (finally) share with you the results of the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Competition at Spring Crown in Adora.
Apologies for the tardiness of the announcement; things got tangled up amongst Ginevra’s sudden promotion and my taking over as KMoAS.
The competition had nine entries.
We were blessed with the dedicated service of a team of judges, who gave many hours of their time to provide thoughtful feedback to the entrants. For this event, our judges were: Astridr, Victoria of Adora, Tigre d’ Argentona, Medb ingen na Iasachta, Mathilde Adycote, Lianor dos Cavelos, Katherne Rischer, and Aelfred se leof.
Everything was co-ordinated by the marvellous Ælfred se leof, without whose great efforts, the competition would not have been possible.
Three cheers for all those who entered, judged and managed the competition!
Without further ado, the prize winners were:
- Experienced, gold bell: Baroness Mildryth Thomaswyf, for a Dress Based on the Stuttgart Psalter
- Intermediate, gold bell: Lady Shinjo Takame, for a Japanese Chigiri-e Collage
- Intermediate, silver bell:Ysabella Valler D’Yonze, for Charcoal Helmet Artwork
