Greetings, Lochac!

As a child learning to walk holds tight to their parent, so Lochac held with Atlantia and Drachenwald in our University debut. We walked far and fast in their company, though the strength was not truly our own.

Yet it gave us a taste of possibility, and now we would prove our mettle. Lochac is hosting our own online University event on October 31, and the list of classes is wonderfully tempting. So many wonderful teachers with fascinating topics!

The young child certainly has the will to walk, and knows more or less how to do it – but balance, strength and muscle memory are still in training. We are trying to walk alone now, and the Kingdom needs to support itself.  Teachers and students need admin to happen around them, or the child will take a tumble…and while stumbles are part of the learning process, we don’t want anyone falling down the stairs!

Help is particularly wanted on the day – teacher’s assistants to help manage and record classes, receptionists to direct people to the right space, wizards to resolve technical issues on the fly…please let us know if you can provide these kinds of assistance. Afterwards, we would love help with editing and publishing the class recordings and notes, so we begin to build an archive of Lochac’s expertise.

Information about the event, and Lochac University in general, is here: https://university.lochac.sca.org/

If you are interested in helping make this a great learning occasion, please contact our Chancellor, THL Nicola de Coventre.
